1.1 Personal Information Initab only collects and stores the email address provided by users for authentication purposes. This information is necessary to ensure the secure access and use of the extension. Initab does not collect or store any other personally identifiable information (PII) from its users.
1.2 Non-Personal Information Initab may collect non-personal information that does not directly identify users. This information may include browser type, language preference, device type, operating system, and anonymous usage statistics. This data is used to improve the functionality and performance of the extension.
2.1 Initab's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
3.1 Third-Party Services Initab may use third-party services, such as Stripe, to process subscription payments for premium users. When making a payment, users will be redirected to Stripe's secure payment platform, and any personal and payment information provided will be subject to Stripe's privacy policy and terms of service. Initab does not have access to or store any credit card or payment details of its users.
3.2 Initab also utilizes OAuth authentication provided by Google to allow users to log in to their Google account and grant access to Google Photos. When using this feature, users will be redirected to Google's authentication platform, and any personal information or access permissions provided will be subject to Google's privacy policy and terms of service. Initab does not have access to or store any Google account credentials or personal data beyond the email address.
3.3 Legal Requirements Initab may disclose personal information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency).
4.1 Data Storage and Synchronization For premium users of Initab, certain settings and preferences may be synced to a server to provide a consistent experience across devices. This data may include custom configurations and preferences specifically chosen by the user. While all data synchronized to the server is treated with the utmost care and is subject to the same level of security and privacy measures as outlined in this Privacy Policy, it is important to note that the "Scratch Pad" feature is not intended for storing sensitive information. The "Scratch Pad" is designed for convenient note-taking purposes and does not encrypt the data. Therefore, we advise users to exercise caution and refrain from inputting or storing sensitive or confidential information in the scratch pad feature.
4.2 Cookies As of version 2.0, Initab does not use any cookies for tracking or storing user information.
5.1 Initab takes reasonable measures to protect the security of user information. However, please note that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While efforts are made to ensure the security of your personal information, Initab cannot guarantee its absolute security.
6.1 Initab reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. The updated version will be indicated by the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy. Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how their information is collected and used.
